Our Company designs and manufactures innovative cable systems, for use in tough marine environments, with the custom designs often pushing the boundaries of current product knowledge, and manufacturing methods.

Beschrijving functie

Candidate profile:
our Company is looking for a person who can work effectively with both the rest of the design engineering team (8 others), suppliers and production departments. The applicant should have an MTS or HTS qualification, or the same level gained through relevant experience.

Essential qualities: Organised, efficient, high level of accuracy, methodical, able to work independently, positive, written and spoken Dutch and English, good 3D imagination and visualisation.

Experience Required:
Use of Solidworks and Autocad.
Production machining and metalwork knowledge, (turning, Milling, Welding, Spark erosion, threads)
Material knowledge, assembly technique knowledge
Use of Microsoft programmes, and General PC competence.

Experience Beneficial:
Water sealing mechanisms
Steel cables, power cable terminations
Electrical design considerations
Knowledge of norms and agreed standards and tolerances.
Knowledge of Quality procedures

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Design Coach.
Responsible for quality, accurate and on-time delivery of all detailed design information to production in the form of detailed drawings generated from 3D or 2D design models.
Supporting the design engineers and Senior design engineers in creating drawings and designs from initial concepts.
Helping suppliers with manufacturing problems with the drawings, modifying drawings as a result of afwijkings (Non conformances), and makin
